IP Cameras - Closed-circuit television (cctv) cameras that use Internet Protocol to transmit image data and control signals over a Fast Ethernet link. Also referred to as network cameras

PTZ Cameras (Pan Tilt Zoom) - cameras that allow you to adjust their position ('pan' is side-to-side, 'tilt' is up-and-down and zoom is field of view) .They are controlled by a separate control unit or from a DVR.
