TAMPA, Fla. — SureView Systems, a provider of physical security software, has partnered with Axis Communications to integrate the new Axis Guardian platform with its Immix software suite (CS, CC, Guard Force).
Axis Guardian is a Cloud-based surveillance service platform that is tailored to the needs of alarm monitoring providers, according to an announcement. The platform allows for the expansion of new services and increases recurring revenue streams. It is designed to be tightly integrated into the Immix central station monitoring software, also a Cloud-based solution, to streamline the alarm handling flow.
“SureView Systems has been a long-time proud partner of Axis Communications,” states Simon Morgan, CTO, SureView Systems. “As such, we are especially excited to announce that we have our first true SaaS integration with them, which is unique. As more and more of our manufacturer partners migrate toward Cloud service offerings, our central station customers, in turn, will want to offer more app-based services as part of their product suite. The integration between Immix and Axis Guardian is a true SaaS or Cloud-to-Cloud integration, meaning there is no “on-premises” equipment required at the central station, according to the company. A simple Cloud connection between the two platforms allows for instant communication and ease of maintenance as all updates are delivered in a single location in real time.

The platform is managed by Axis Communications in the Cloud and enables alarm companies to serve the small and midsize business (SMB) market. Alarm companies can use the platform’s centralized device management and health monitoring to maintain and manage the system remotely.
The web and mobile applications also allow the end customer to access the camera system for their own business operations during regular business hours. Axis Communications provides system infrastructure, hybrid storage combining Cloud and edge storage, 24/7 support and the day-to-day maintenance, according to the announcement.
