Why VIVOTEK and ProdataKey Teamed Up Using VORTEX
“We are thrilled to announce the integration of ProdataKey’s access control systems with VIVOTEK’s advanced camera technology,” says Brach Bengtzen, vice president of marketing at ProdataKey, in the joint announcement. “This collaboration brings together the strength of both platforms, providing users with a seamless security experience.
“By syncing our systems, users can now enjoy enhanced real-time monitoring, better incident response, and an overall more efficient, unified approach to managing their security infrastructure. We believe this integration will significantly elevate the security standards for our customers,” he says.
VORTEX “represents VIVOTEK’s next-generation AI-powered operations automation platform that meshes video data, AI, big data and cloud into a cohesive and powerful safety and security solution,” according to the joint announcement.
VORTEX “provides intelligent and user-friendly data analysis services, leveraging a hybrid cloud architecture that transcends conventional storage frameworks,” the announcement says. “No longer is dedicated video management software or centralized management systems required to manage and process video data.”
With VORTEX, video data can be stored and analyzed via edge computing directly within the camera and backup in the cloud, reducing time, cost and bandwidth limitations of the past.
