And, as providers get better at reporting the data, users will be able to better use the data for purposes beyond security, such as enforcing compliance, preventing false claims, improving customer service and analyzing foot traffic to improve sales. For example, an auto dealer can view video footage and use the data within to identify the time of day most customers shop, the most trafficked areas on the lot, the most popular cars, and much more.
Remote video monitoring goes mainstream
An unintended side effect of the COVID-19 pandemic has been the rapid adoption of RVM services. Businesses across industries needed a way to protect their properties without being on-site, and RVM provided an easy and affordable solution.
