MONTREAL — At the upcoming GSX trade show in Atlanta, Genetec, a technology provider of unified security, public safety, operations, and business intelligence solutions, will unveil the latest version of Security Center which will offer new features to streamline security operations.
At the event, Genetec will also demonstrate the latest version of Security Center Synergis, the company’s IP-based access control system (ACS) that is said to provide enhanced cybersecurity, flexibility and insights. With an expanding list of integrated devices, Genetec boasts that Synergis empowers users to break free from proprietary access control systems and avoid the long-term limitations and risks of closed solutions.
Visitors to the Genetec booth will be able to get hands-on demonstrations of a new enclosure management solution that gives traffic managers and engineers the ability to remotely manage, monitor and secure enclosures. The solution replaces traditional mechanical locks and enables customers to know and control who, how and when their remote enclosures are accessed.
Other products Genetec will showcase include the Streamvault Edge line of connected appliances that is said to enable the easy transition to a hybrid-Cloud infrastructure. According to the company, Streamvault Edge is designed for multisite operations such as banking, retail, or businesses with remote or unmanned sites.
Genetec points out that Streamvault Edge enables organizations to modernize their security infrastructure while leveraging existing legacy sensor infrastructure. The appliance is a low-maintenance, easy-to-install edge device that makes the commissioning, deployment and management of connected remote sites straightforward without the need for specialized IT expertise.
In addition to the new Security Center product introductions, show attendees can also see the company’s new AutoVu Cloudrunner, which is described as a new Cloud-based vehicle-centric investigation system (VCIS) that detects, analyzes and securely stores highly accurate vehicle identification data to support public safety investigations.
Cloudrunner is said to enhance community-led policing initiatives, while providing law enforcement agencies, community associations, and campus security teams with a reliable way to identify vehicles connected to crimes, day and night, and in any weather condition.
