CHICAGO — This year’s Global Security Exchange (GSX), formerly the ASIS Int’l Seminar & Exhibits, attracted more than 550 exhibitors to the Windy City’s sprawling McCormick Place.
The range of exhibiting vendors covered a broad swath of disciplines — cybersecurity, manned guarding, unmanned systems, electronic and physical security, among other solutions providers. Because GSX is largely geared toward a corporate and institutional perspective, the majority of vendors have little or no relation to the specific work of security dealers or systems integrators.
No matter, though. There were plenty of manufacturers and service providers present to keep installing security contractors busy on the show floor.
