TEANECK, N.J. —  Hanwha Techwin America, a global supplier of IP and analog video surveillance solutions, will announce its latest multisensor cameras at GSX in Chicago, being held Sept. 8-12 at McCormick Place.

The new cameras feature motorized varifocal lenses for control of focal length, angle of view and zoom for each direction. Each sensor supports remote pan, tilt, rotate, zoom (p/t/r/z) control for efficient installation and easy adjustment, according to the company.

The 2MP PNM-9084RVQZ and 5MP PNM-9085RVQZ feature built-in IR illumination for each sensor while the PNM-9084VQZ is a compact and cost-efficient four-channel p/t/r/z camera.

All sensors feature up to 60fps per channel for smooth motion capture, up to 150dB WDR (wide dynamic range) and a suite of license-free onboard analytics powered by Hanwha’s Wisenet 5 chipset.

“Our multisensor cameras offer savings beyond just reduction in camera placements and network,” says Ray Cooke, vice president of solution & product management, Hanwha Techwin America. “The p/t/r/z varifocal lenses make installation adjustment more efficient than ever — and all the more so for adjusting the view after installation. Plus with WiseStream II compression technology and H.265 you can see reduced bandwidth and storage.”
