IDIS Introduces NDAA-Compliant License Plate Camera With Analytics

COPPELL, Texas — IDIS, a global manufacturer of video security products, has launched its new DC-T6224HRXL license plate capture camera. 

The South Korean-based company says that its latest product enhances its line-up of video security solutions with the introduction of the new NDAA-compliant camera.

IDIS DC-T6224HRXL License Plate Capture Camera Includes Analytic Capabilities 

IDIS explains that its new license plate capture camera allows users to accurately capture license plates of vehicles traveling as fast as 50mph (80km/h).

According to the company, the 2MP DC-T6224HRXL license plate capture camera offers a detection range up of more than 325 yards (100 meters) in full light and advanced IR to capture clear images at distances up to 66 feet (20 meters).

Other features the new camera offers include analytics that deliver motion detection, active tampering and trip zones. The new camera is said to quickly connect to IDIS’ DIRECT IP NVRs to help ensure seamless security system connectivity.

IDIS notes the DC-T6224HRXL license plate capture camera can be used for applications such as single lane traffic monitoring and crime prevention. 

In addition IDIS states, the camera produces full-HD images, along with two-way audio and alarms to allow operators to detect, verify and respond to any security events quickly and easily. IDIS boasts the DC-T6224HRXL provides uninterrupted forensic evidence via its IDIS Smart Failover, and through the use of its IDIS Solution Suite VMS, IDIS Center client software and companion app, the camera is easy to use.
