RGB Spectrum Bolsters Quad View IPX, SuperView IPX Multiviewers

ALAMEDA, Calif.—RGB Spectrum, a developer of mission-critical video for real-time decision support, has introduced new features for its Quad View IPX and SuperView IPX multiviewers that are designed for data visualization.

RGB Spectrum states that Multiviewers have become important tools for consolidating diverse data sources onto a single screen. RGB Spectrum points out that its offerings increase flexibility by addressing both local and remote video sources, by their ability to access both local HDMI and remote IP signals.

The QuadView IPX is a high-performance 4K multiviewer that allows users to display up to four video signals in customizable layouts on a single screen, aka “single pane of glass.”  The SuperView IPX offers similar capabilities, enabling users to display up to seven video signals on a single screen. The SuperView IPX shares all the advanced features of the QuadView IPX, which RGB Spectrum emphasizes makes it a companion solution for demanding mission-critical applications.

Updated Multiviewers Support a Range of Content and Applications

RGB Spectrum notes the Quad View IPX and SuperView IPX provide users the flexibility to mix and match input resolutions; the products scale any input up to 4K resolution, and route any input to any window in customizable layouts. Explaining the products’ ability to display a range of content, the new multiviewers can show a combination of local baseband and remote IP video, with access over HDMI and LAN/WAN connections.

The Calif.-based company adds this high level of flexibility makes the multiviewers solutions for 24/7 operations where reliability, security, and ruggedness are paramount.
