HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. — Vicon Industries, a subsidiary of Cemtrex (Nasdaq: CETX), designer and manufacturer of video surveillance and access control software, hardware and components, announces the launch of a new generation of servers, the Shadow Elite line.

The new line of servers is said to fulfill the industry demand for reliable higher-performance options for growing security ecosystems.

Powered by Dell and Intel technology, the Shadow Elite line of servers offers the highest level of performance needed to execute today’s surveillance demands for long-term endurance and trust, according to the announcement.

The new servers are said to unify superior software and hardware to create a resilient foundation with guaranteed security. Vicon has made the Elite Shadow line available in a wide variety of options and form factors to suit any security application.

Engineers considered every facet of the line’s creation, including ease of installation, use, reliability and support, according to the announcement.

“The Shadow Elite line addresses common integrator concerns by cutting down installation time and simplifying long-term management,” says Bob Germain, director, hardware product management, Vicon. “Servers ship pre-installed Valerus VMS for simple configuration and setup and have a straightforward license activation that can have the system up and running in under five minutes. Additionally, the RAID recorders come with Dell’s Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) for secure remote server management and efficient maintenance.”

The Shadow Elite line is said to ensure round-the-clock, dedicated support from start to finish. Vicon backs each unit with a five-year warranty, next-day onsite support, and a 24/7 U.S.-based support team.
